Engineering validation for the cereal bag.

No More Crumbs is a working prototype. The engineering program is designed to determine whether the package can be formed repeatably, run on relevant cereal-packaging equipment, preserve package integrity, and produce the intended separation outcome under controlled test conditions.

What we are trying to learn

Matched-control test design

The experimental package should be compared with a conventional cereal liner using the same cereal lot, target fill weight, film family where practical, machine, and documented operating conditions. Machine architecture, jaw type, seal method, temperature, force, dwell time, line speed, reject criteria, and sample size should be recorded.

Results should be reported for the actual machine, film, cereal, settings, sample size, and environmental conditions used. Vendor estimates and measured results should remain separate.

What this page does not claim

It does not establish that No More Crumbs is commercially manufacturable, that it preserves shelf life, that it will achieve a particular line speed or unit cost, or that consumers will buy cereal because of the feature. Those conclusions require measured evidence.

The issued U.S. patent can be reviewed publicly as U.S. Patent No. 9,221,584 B2. Patent scope and freedom-to-operate questions require legal analysis and are not determined by this engineering test plan.
